The Alec Brown Gold Cup Cue, made by PeradonDescription:
This is a quite uncommon picture plate cue which celebrates Alec's victory in the daily mail's "gold cup" tournaments (of 1938 & 39). Alec brown is most famously known for having brought about a change in the rules of snooker, when he produced a 'fountain pen' sized cue during a match in 1938. This cue is ash shafted with a hand spliced ebony butt with classic green veneer - a nice player too!
Length: 58.00inches, weighing 17.00ounces.
Cue diameters: 10.70mm at the tip, 13.70mm at 12in, and 31.50mm at the butt.
